| Our advanced obedience class offers
the dog/handler team the opportunity to continue on and reinforce
the training that was accomplished in the beginner class. The
dog will be expected to work off leash in a variety of disciplines
( sit, down, heel, stay, and recall ). Advanced obedience promotes
a level of obedience that requires the dog to display attention
on the handler and self control. We encourage Advanced Obedience
to all who wish to have a dependable, enjoyable companion. Taking
yourself and your dog to this level of training will create
a strong bond and enhance communication. You will appreciate
the results of your patience and hard work.
Tina Yelle, Instructor. Tina has been training dogs since
1985, and currently owns a Whippet, and a Belgian Tervuren.
She studied at City Dog in NYC, at CDTC in Concord and studied
privately with Dianne Bauman, a nationally recognized trainer
and a member of the US agility Team. In AKC Obedience Competition,
Tina’s Whippet earned a UD title plus a SC Lure Coursing
