CLYDE'S STORY

Clyde was born on a farm in Canaan Maine on March 19th 2007. Eight weeks later he arrived at his new home in Maynard where he instantly bonded with his brother Winston the bulldog! Then in the summer of 2008, Clyde got another brother – a cat named Munson! From the very first night Munson was in the house he slept curled up safe with Clyde. To this day Munson still likes to snuggle with Clyde for long afternoon naps.

One day in July of 2010, Clyde and his mother took a ride in the truck to see a litter of Bulldog puppies! Clyde played with the puppies for an hour until he finally picked his new baby sister Isabel. Later that month, Clyde was chosen for Pet Source – Pet of the Month!

Then on Halloween Day 2010, Clyde married his longtime girlfriend Daisy (also a Basset) in a wonderful ceremony held prior to Stow’s annual MonsterBark pet parade and costume contest! This was followed by a reception with six of his friends and his cousin Misty the chocolate lab.

Clyde has had such a whirl wind of a year and would like to thank everyone who voted for him for Pet of the Year! He would like to send a special thanks to his wife Daisy for all her love and support.

Sincerely,
Monica, Clyde's proud mother
